Dr. Ruth C. Heitin founded Educational Consulting Services in 1992. She holds a doctoral degree in Special Education Administration. Over the past 40 years, Dr. Heitin has served as a teacher and/or administrator in educational programs from preschool to the university level. Her depth of experience as both a certified regular and special education teacher, an elementary principal and a diagnostician make her uniquely qualified to assess students and make educationally appropriate, individualized recommendations. Additionally, Dr. Heitin is proficient in sign language (PSE).
